The Security Section of University of Cape Coast, UCC, has presented a Citation of Honour to the Director of Consular and General Services, Mrs. Alberta Yaa Graham. This was in appreciation of her commitment to the Section.
The presentation was made to Mrs. Graham by the Provost of the College of Agricultural and Natural Sciences (CANS), Prof. Moses Jojo Eghan, supported by Head of the Security Section, Col. (rtd) Joseph K. Baah Tsiquaye.
Mrs. Graham was honoured at the maiden Rank Wearing ceremony organized by the Security Section to promote thirty-eight (38) security personnel for their outstanding work at the University of Cape Coast.
The personnel were promoted to the ranks of Senior Officer, Assistant Senior Officer and Senior Guard (Grades 1 and 2).
The citation read in part, “You have demonstrated good leadership, resilience and dedication in the discharge of your responsibilities…Your invaluable contribution in diverse ways has helped put the Security Section on a high pedestal. Your commitment, presence, humility and motivation of the Guard Force during Security programmes will always be remembered. You have been a mentor and played a huge role for the betterment of the Security Section.”

Mrs. Alberta Yaa Graham is a Deputy Registrar and was appointed on 3rd September, 2019 as Acting Director of Consular and General Services of UCC. By dint of hard work, the appointment was made substantive on 6th November, 2020.
Mrs. Graham has served and continues to serve (either as Secretary, Member or Chairperson) on various statutory boards and committees of the University. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultant (CIAMC) of Ghana and a member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) Ghana. She has worked for twenty-four (24) years as an administrator and seventeen (17) years as a professional administrator.
