A delegation from the National Service Secretariat (NSS) in Cape Coast led by the Central
Reginal Coordinator, Mrs. Jennifer Appiah Bempah, has paid a courtesy call on Management of
the University of Cape Coast.
The purpose of the visit was to officially introduce themselves to University Management and
cement the relationship between the University and NSS. In her remarks, Mrs. Jennifer Appiah
Bempah, made a plea to the Vice-Chancellor for an office space on campus for the NSS
Secretariat to help facilitate their work for the University.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong on his part, commended them for paying
a courtesy call on Management and assured the delegation of the support of the University to
National Service Persons who have been deployed to the University. He assured them that the
Directorate of Human Resource is ready to address and assist service personnel with any issues
or challenges they may encounter.
