A delegation from CalBank led by the Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Johnson Oware, has paid a courtesy call on the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Denis Aheto.

The team interacted with the Acting Vice-Chancellor and other University officials to consolidate the relationship between the bank and UCC.

Mr. Oware, on behalf of the bank’s management, congratulated Prof. Aheto on his appointment as the substantive Vice-Chancellor and briefed him on the ongoing transformation within the bank.

The meeting also covered other issues of mutual interest, including Corporate Social Responsibility, ways to support UCC in constructing student hostels, and the installation of solar panels, among others.

In his contribution, Prof. Aheto expressed his appreciation to the management of the bank for the courtesy call and for discussing matters of interest to the University.

Other members of the CalBank delegation included Mr. Stephen Osei- Tutu, Western Cluster Manager; Mr. Ernest Prince Mintah, Branch Manager, CalBank PLC Cape Coast, and Mr. David Gorthe Mensah, Commercial Relationship Manager, CalBank - Cape Coast.
